Country Club Luxury Real Estate

Country Club

Situated 7 minutes away from Washington Park, Country Club is a distinguished area of uncommon opulence located in the neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The place is designed with impressive Denver Country Club homes for sale, a clubhouse in the center and a stylish golf course around. It is a community that defines beauty, character, diversity and prominence in the heart of the city.

Country Club is framed by 6th Avenue in the north, Downing in the east, Alameda Boulevard in the south and York City in the west. It is just a 20-minute walk from downtown Denver and 15-minute walk from Denver Tech Center. It holds the distinction of being a Historic Landmark District, bestowed upon the community in 1990.

Country Club History

In 1902, a group of affluent businessmen who were members of the newly-opened Denver Country Club initiated the purchase of several acres of land around it. From 1905 through 1926, more lands around the Club were purchased, with each new addition being slowly developed by the Fourth Avenue Realty Company. Many of the iconic period homes still standing today were made during this period, along with the parkways and roads that connected the various segments of the community. Its historical significance was first noticed in 1979 when its western section would be entered into the National Register of Historic Places, thanks to the preservation of its classical homes. The entire community would get the designation several years later.

Amenities and Famous Landmarks

In addition to the nearby golf course, Country Club also offers various other amenities, like basketball and tennis courts, swimming pools, and parkways. It is also within close proximity of Downtown Denver. The most visited golf courses near this community are Cherry Hills and Glenmoor Country Club. The community is also near to different peaceful destinations such as Covington, Cherry Hills Park and Cherry Hills Farms. These places are perfect for outdoor events such as wedding, birthday celebrations, gatherings, etc.

  • Cherry Hills Farms

This farming facility is located in the nearby neighborhood of Cherry Hills. This is a perfect destination for those who want to take a trip to a countryside setting without having to go very far.

This is one Denver’s biggest technological and business districts. It houses some of the biggest businesses in the Denver-Greenfield area, and is one of the busiest locations downtown.
